This license has restrictions we think you should be aware of

  • This license has some restrictions on output devices

    This license limits you to one "output device" per user in your license. Output devices are generally printers or monitors where they type is displayed. Most desktop licenses do not limit the amount of output devices where the font can be displayed. Instead, they merely limit the number of people who can install it, or the number of machines where it can be installed.

    • If none of these restrictions apply to you or your company, you can consider this license "worry-free" for your uses. The rest of the license contains no suprises or special terms we think you should be aware of.

K-TYPE COMMERCIAL LICENSE AGREEMENT Purchasing a K-Type font grants you non-exclusive rights to use the font in commercial design for the web, film/video and print. The font may be stored on up to five workstations and output devices; multiple licenses can be purchased where more 'seats' are required. You cannot legally give the font to others or install it on their machines (with the exception of co-workers and your service bureau). You can embed the font securely in non-editable documents. Web-font usage is not permitted under the terms of the Commercial License, but is covered by the Fontspring @Font-Face Web-font License. To incorporate a K-Type font file within a computer application or game, or for use on an unlimited number of workstations, a more comprehensive Enterprise License should be purchased from K-Type. Fonts are supplied "as is". Every effort is made to ensure that the files will behave properly, and whilst mistakes and omissions are corrected cheerfully and quickly, K-Type will not be liable for losses incurred by 'software failure'.
