Designed by Lauren Ashpole, Candy Randy is a hand drawn and novelty font published by Lauren Ashpole.

Not inspired by any one thing, Candy Randy came about as an attempt to capture the feel of hours spent aimlessly perusing children’s advertising and packaging from the early 1960s.

It always reminds me a bit of Christmas and was named after an imaginary character in tales told to my youngest sister.
