Cloisterfuch

Designed by Matthijs Herzberg, Cloisterfuch is a blackletter font published by Herzberg Design.

Cloisterfuch is a contemporary Blackletter typeface. Inspired by a variety of historical scripts such as Texturalis and Fraktur, Cloisterfuch takes its letterforms to the next level by basing them on a varying nib angle of 0-90 degrees, as opposed to the classical fixed 45 degree model.

Excellent for display and surprisingly functional in short pieces of text, Cloisterfuch is a great font for packaging design, editorial titling, metal band album covers, newspaper logos, and much more.
In addition to a highly decorative uppercase and slightly less decorative lowercase, Cloisterfuch comes equipped with a number of OpenType features to increase its potential applications: lining & old-style numerals, standard & discretionary ligatures, contextual historical alternates, and a handful of swash capitals.
Also included are a number of icons, dingbats, symbols and manicules. Cloisterfuch has a Latin Extended (A) glyphset, supporting over 50 languages.
