The International Association for Textile Care Labelling (GINETEX: Groupement International d’Etiquetage pour l’Entretien des Textiles) which represents the textile producing and retailing industries and other interested organisations concerned in textile care in different countries has devised an internationally applicable care labelling system for textiles based on symbols of pictograms.

This font contains standard textile care label symbols (ISO 3758 and Euro-Norm EN 23758), including flexible choices of washing and drying temperatures, as well as ironing, bleaching and drycleaning symbols. Additionally the deviating Japan JIS L 0217 standard symbols, Canadian and non-ISO European symbols.
