Deliria

I’ll admit it —Deliria was born out of a response to a trend you’ve probably noticed making a comeback: Art Nouveau, especially in the realm of font design. What began as an experiment quickly evolved into one of my most successful fonts. A year and a half later, I introduced a second style, Sobria, to enhance the font’s versatility. Sobria strips back each letterform to its core, offering a more legible alternative to the elaborate Art Nouveau style. Both styles coexist within Deliria, allowing you to seamlessly switch between the two, depending on your needs. Available in two weights, this dynamic display duo promises endless fun as you embark on your trippy type adventure with Deliria.

Deliria is a wedge serif typeface with strong structures. With a decent contrast and its tall x-height, she can be easily recognized in many sizes. In the Nouveau style, the liquified stems appear to be in motion, but because the effect is not over-done, and keeps it’s consistency letter by letter, the typeface doesn’t require guess work when it comes to reading. She pairs well with its sober counterpart, Sobria, which will allow even more legibility across your design with putting these two together in typographic layouts.
