A Classic Brush Script Family at $71!

UT Triumph by Uniontype is the debut font from Roman Avdiushkin, who started Uniontype just this past year. It’s a modern display script that has its roots in classic American brush scripts, but with all the flair and modern stylings you’d expect from a font released in 2016.

Let’s be honest, UT Triumph is entering a crowded space for a font of this kind. There are rough fonts aplenty, and many of them are very good. However, UT Triumph has some real character and a unique look that I think will help it stand out against the other fonts in the busy space. It may have extra characters and alternates, but it doesn’t stuff the family full of extra weights and all kinds of craziness that can help the base design get lost.

This font is going for quality over quantity, You have your base design with a vintage variation, a rough version, and then shadows for all 3 of those. Just the basics to get you started. At $71 for the family or $29 per font, this would be a great addition to the font toolbox for a new designer, or someone looking for a modern take on a classic script.
