A chance encounter with a hand-lettered bookplate from the early twentieth century provided the impetus for a sprawling, versatile flare serif in 168 styles from Richard Lipton. Collier occupies that rare zone between serif and sans serif, harnessing the best of both. Designed mostly for display, this subtly tapered face has several styles that also perform well at text sizes, starting at 8pt.
