FILM NOUVEAU JNL

Designed by Jeff Levine, Film Nouveau JNL is an art nouveau font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

An image in the December 14, 1938 edition of “The Exhibitor” (a movie industry trade magazine) carried a picture of the Chelten Theater in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The marquee sign had neon lettering in a condensed type style that had some Art Deco influences, but leaned more toward that of Art Nouveau.

This provided a model for the typeface Film Nouveau JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
