NEWSREEL HEADLINE JNL

Designed by Jeff Levine, Newsreel Headline JNL is an art deco font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

The August 28, 1934 issue of “The Film Daily” carried an ad for Pathé News, one of the major suppliers of newsreels to theaters at the time.

The headline text for the ad was hand lettered in an extra bold Art Deco thick-and-thin style with squared characters and rounded corners.

This is now available as Newsreel Headline JNL in both regular and oblique versions.
