Dom Casual BT

Designed by Dmitry Kirsanov, Dom Casual BT is a brush display and display sans font family. This typeface has four styles and was published by ParaType.

Dom was designed by Peter Dombrezian for American Type Founders in 1951–52. It is an informal, unjoined script typeface that resembles brush lettering. The letters are almost monotone and drawn in a free and casual style. Vertical strokes have irregular endings at varying heights, and the ovals have slightly different slants, adding to its organic charm.

This typeface is versatile, lending a warm and approachable feel suitable for a wide range of applications. It excels in creating inviting signage, engaging advertisements, and charming invitations.

The Cyrillic version of the Bitstream digital font Dom was developed by Dmitry Kirsanov for Paratype in 2008.

Dom main characteristics:
- 4 styles in total
- 560+ glyphs in each style
- 12 OpenType features
- Extended Latin and Cyrillic support
