Designed by Ray Larabie, Polarized is a display font family. This typeface has ten styles and was published by Typodermic Fonts Inc.
Polarized is a technical, ultramodern typeface inspired by seven-segment liquid crystal numeric displays. Rather than simulating an authentic readout, Polarized reinterprets the LCD’s digital essence, creating an alphabet with a unique geometric corner logic. The character set covers most Latin-based languages as well as Vietnamese, Greek and Cyrillic. A breadth of currency symbols are incorporated as well as numeric ordinals, primes, and OpenType fractions. Polarized is available in Extra-Light, Light, Regular, Semi-Bold, and Bold with obliques.
