SCREEN STENCIL JNL

Designed by Jeff Levine, Screen Stencil JNL is a stencil font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Jeff Levine Fonts.

National Screen Service was a company that started out providing film trailers, but is best known for supplying posters and lobby cards to theaters.

One of their ads (in the October 2, 1948 issue of Motion Picture Herald) was hand lettered in a bold stencil slab serif style.

This is now available as Screen Stencil JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.
